I am a certified Personal Training Specialist with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. I have 3 years experience working 1-on-1 with clients providing individualized and detailed nutrition and training programs.
And I absolutely love what I do!
I was inspired through my own health journey to help others & let them know: you are not alone. I understand the barriers and struggles that you are enduring to move towards a better version of yourself. I seek to help you overcome those obstacles with compassion. I teach sustainable habits you can maintain lifelong and provide motivation and accountability with my practical, no-nonsense, evidence based approach.
I am here to help you achieve more than you would be able to do on your own.
My Mission & Guiding Principles
1. We all deserve to feel comfortable and happy in our skin.
We deserve to feel confident, free from pain, and to enjoy a long life with our loved ones.
There is too much good inside of us to not care about how we treat ourselves.
We only get one body. We only get one chance. What will you do for yourself today to make yourself proud?
2. The most effective way to happiness is through health.
A nutritious diet, regular movement, and direction towards self-improvement is the easiest way you can help to maintain mental health. When you work on yourself you maintain a more positive outlook that is conducive to fighting anxiety and depression.
You will look inside yourself towards personal growth, learn neither to concern yourself with judgement or judgement of others because you understand that you never know another person’s internal struggle or where they are in their transformation.
4. Your goals will come, if you build your strength.
Strength is always the foundation. Whether you want to achieve weight-loss, body recomposition, muscle gain, or “just toning’ – you always seek first to build your strength.
5. Patience and acceptance: Progress not perfection.
There is no long-term solution that is quick and easy. You will accept that we all have flaws. Be present and honest, stop worrying what others think, and keep following your journey.
I believe that if I share my path, I can inspire others.
You will find confidence in striving to always be your best self.
You have a duty to yourself to challenge and keep aspiring to your potential.
5. Balance is about making sustainable lifestyle changes, not restrictive choices.
This is the new you.
If you make extreme choices like swearing off entire food groups you will never stick to it. If you sweat off foods you love you will never stick to it. If you feel deprived you will never stick to it.
The most successful diet is the one that you can stick to.
Each client is given an individualized approach that is thoughtful of their lifestyle and preferences.
I provide healthy but delicious meals, not restrictive meal plans with the same meals every single day, with no enjoyment. You can enjoy your favorite foods and flavours in moderation and still see results.
6. With a plan, you will get there.
You can’t just decide to eat a bit healthier and show up at the gym. These vague guidelines have not worked for you in the past because you did not have a specific, strategic approach. You can’t wing it and expect results. You won’t get the most out of your valuable time.
7. Exercise and nutritional science is an evolving field.
Therefore I stay current with research and refuse to practice pseudo-science.
I maintain my integrity through constant upgrade of skills and knowledge.
8. You cannot let perceived limitations confine you. Anything is possible if you put the work in.
We all started somewhere. It is what we choose to do now that matters.
There is a better way.
You can feel better, you can have more energy.
What you feel is a direct reflection on how you treat your body.
You cannot take it for granted.
